Would you believe it? CJotD is 60 today.
Clearly 60 is a number of great significance. There are 60 seconds in a minute and, conveniently, 60 minutes in an hour. In a puzzling quirk of cosmic fate, 60 is a unitary perfect number while also being semiperfect too. More broadly, it is also the number of seconds cars were ‘gone in’ throughout the aptly-named Nicholas Cage classic film released in 2000.
But we digress. The weather is glorious here in London town, and to make the most of it CJotD-ers are shutting down their computers early and heading up to the HQ roof terrace for a beverage and a pre-weekend wind down.
We advise you do the same – though do check it’s ok with your manager first. We don’t want to get you into any trouble. Enjoy this ‘diamond’ two-liner, and your weekend.
Why is Captain Birdseye greedy?
His business makes him sell fish.
Another one of those, same time tomorrow.
